Kindheitserinnerungen an Weihnachten

Dazu mein digitales Layout.

Liebe Grüße
Sandra

Preparing for New Year's Resolutions III

Use the weather next year. Face up to the challenges of your life. Don't just complain about the rain, but see a chance for things to grow.

Go out into the sun, even if it's grey and cloudy outside... Let the sun shine on you every day, in every season. You know ... walking about 15 minutes every day can help cheer you up.

So, use the weather wisely next year and make the best of it.

Preparing for New Year's Resolutions II

Why not buy a red, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink... T-Shirt for a change (depending on what suits you) and add a little colour to your appearance. Put some colour in your life:

And I would like to share something with you. I saw this in a German magazine (NIDO) this summer. Greta asked her parents: "How do the colours of the rainbow know what colour they are supposed to make?"

Too cute to be left unshared...
Warm regards,
Sandra

Preparing for New Year's Resolutions I

I know it's still a bit until New Year's Eve. I thought about things I might want to wish for myself and dear people I know. The first thing that came to mind was figuring out what life has in store for us, to recognise life's possibilities. So watch out for the roads in front of you. Decide which one you want to go down next year. Years ago I came across a poem by Robert Frost, which I would like to share with you:

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Make the best of the road you HAVE taken. Warm regards, Sandra
