Minibuch mit Cover aus Washi-Tape | Mini book with February Kit from Freckled Fawn

Das Washi-Tape mit den Herzen ist toll. Es sieht gut aus und es haftet auch gut auf Papier. Bei manchen Washi-Tapes wird leider am Klebstoff gespart - sie halten einfach nicht richtig und lösen sich wieder ab. Das Tape aus dem Februar-Kit von Freckled Fawn hält immer noch :)... Ohne viel Drumherum zeige ich euch ein schnelles Minialbum, das aus einer mit Washi-Tape beklebten Hülle sowie mit doppelseitigem Klebeband eingegklebten, quadratischen weißen Papier-Seiten besteht. Die 'Innendeko' ist minimal und schlicht. Als Verschluss für das Mini wählte ich Garn und ein kleines Holzhaus mit Fuchs drauf. Das Mini steht bei mir im Regal und sieht mit dem Holzhaus nebenan super aus. Hello, I made a mini book with the February kit 'Lovely' from Freckled Fawn. The kit comes with wonderful washi tape (which I used to cover the outside of the mini book) and with some super cute embellies like the fox, which I put on the wooden house to go with the mini book. Bob Dylan and two happy cards with February Kits | Gossamer Blue

Bob Dylan ist mittlerweile 74 (feiert im Mai 2016 seinen 75. Geburtstag!) und gehört - laut einer bei Wikipedia zitierten Quelle - zu den einflussreichsten Musikern des 20. Jahrhunderts. Ich wette, jeder kennt den Song "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", der Anfang der 70er Jahre von Dylan geschrieben und inzwischen von zahlreichen Musikern gecovert wurde. Wer sich fragt, warum mein heutiger Post mit Bob Dylan beginnt, erhält eine ganz einfache Antwort. Auf der ersten Karte die ich heute zeige, findet sich ein Zitat von ihm, das mir ausgesprochen gut gefällt. Als hätte er es für Scrapbooker & Memory Keeper geschrieben. Der Stempel mit dem Spruch ist übrigens im Main Kit von Gossamer Blue enthalten. Und da ich zwar Bob Dylan 'kenne', aber relativ wenig über ihn weiß, habe ich bei Wikipedia etwas über ihn gelesen. Das ging ruckzuck. Vor zwanzig Jahren hätte ich für diese Informationen in die Bibliothek fahren dürfen... der Zeitaufwand... Umso erstaunlicher und faszinierender ist es, wie schnell uns Wissen in der heutigen Zeit - mit nur wenigen Mausklicks - zur Verfügung steht. Bob Dylan is 74 years old and will be turning 75 in May 2016. According to Wikipedia, Dylan is one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. I bet everyone knows his song "Knockin 'On Heaven's Door" from the early 70s. The song has been covered by a large number of great musicians. If you are wondering why today's post is starting with Bob Dylan, here is the very simple answer. There is a quote from Bob Dylan on the first card I want to share with you today. And I really like the quote - as if it was written for scrapbookers and memory keepers :). The stamp is from the February Main Kit from Gossamer Blue and here are the cards. Thanks for looking.

Gossamer Blue Reveal | February Kits | My gallery projects

Hello and welcome to my gallery projects with the February kits from Gossamer Blue. I made some quick and easy cards with journaling cards, some wood chip and wood veneers, a flair button and a cute bow and a lovely little butterfly. I did some heat embossing with gold powder on the pair of scissors and the hearts. The latter also has some light-blue powder on it. And I used the cute 'love you' stamp from an exclusive Gossamer Blue stamp set this month. By the way, last weekend I visited the Paperworld/Creativeworld in Frankfurt/M. I will be showing some photos from the fair in the coming days here on my blog. Today I'm sharing some photos from our walk in the sun from Frankfurt Main Train Station to the shopping centre 'Zeil'. Thanks for stopping by today :). Am Wochenende war ich auf der Paperworld/Creativeworld in Frankfurt. Wenn ich es schaffe, dann werde ich euch in den kommenden Tagen einige Fotos von der Messe zeigen. Heute gibt es schon mal einige Fotos, die während unseres Spaziergangs vom Hauptbahnhof zur 'Zeil' entstanden sind. Danach seht ihr einige Karten, die ich mit den Februar-Kits von Gossamer Blue gestaltet habe. Es finden sich einige Teilchen aus Holz auf den Karten, einige Heat-Embossing-Ergebnisse und nicht zuletzt ein süßer kleiner Schmetterling - der nach den eigenen Vorstellungen zusammengebaut werden kann. Die Februar-Kits von Gossamer Blue könnt ihr im Shop anschauen.
