WRMK | Travel Memory Box with layered butterflies

Hello and welcome to mojosanti. Today we are going to make a super-easy and fun travel memory box. It can be used to hold beach finds, photos, and other keepsakes. The layered butterflies are an eye-catcher on the box cover. Turn an ordinary box into a fun piece of decoration. You might want to check out my reels video on instagram.

How to:
  1. Grab a patterned paper from the Round Trip Collection by Maggie Holmes, and the specialty paper from the Sweet Rush Collection by Vicki Boutin. Punch butterflies from the papers with the Nesting Punches Butterflies.
  2. Create layered butterflies with a stapler (or liquid glue).
  3. Grab a box and attach the layered butterflies with foam pads.
  4. Keep photos, memoriables, and beach finds inside the box.

TIP:
To punch the butterflies from the specialty paper, just leave the paper inside the foil packaging and punch the butterflies. It will help you to create clean punched butterflies.

SUPPLIES / TOOLS:

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will collect many wonderful memories this summer. Why not keep them in a pretty box with layered butterflies on the cover of the box?! Xoxo, Sandra.

American Crafts Summer Travel Album with the Point Planner and the Round Trip Papercrafting Collection by Maggie Holmes Cover Page Mojosanti

It's so much fun to sit by the sea and create a summer travel album. So before you go, grab a bag, an adhesive tape roller, washi-tape, pens, ephemera, and any other accessories you would like to use in your travel album. And then, during the day, take some time to write down things you did and moments you want to remember. I used the Point Planner from American Crafts and bits and pieces from the Round Trip Papercrafting Collection by Maggie Holmes for my holiday memory album.

I used a travel printer, which makes it easy to print photos on the go. During the day you can take photos, print them and glue them into the album. Such a fun way to record travel memories.

Supplies:
  • Leathered Point Planner and Accessories from American Crafts
  • We R Memory Keepers Crafter's Bag
  • Round Trip Papercrafting Collection by Maggie Holmes
