Crate Paper | To-Do Planner Mini Album | Hooray

Crate Paper | Planner Mini Album

Since it's the start of the year, many crafters are trying to get organized after the holidays. To jot down important dates and deadlines for the coming year 2019, I created a planner mini album. And I used the We R Memory Keepers Book Binding Guide to make my personal fun To-Do Planner Mini Album.

Tip: First, download a calendar from the Internet. Second, gather your favorite papers from Crate Paper. Third, use the Book Binding Guide to create a fun coptic Japanese mini album. It's so effortless with the book binding guide! Fourth, add cute stickers on each planner sheet. Done :).

Now, please hop on over to the Crate Paper Blog to find out more about this To-Do Planner Mini Album.

Stitch Happy Pen | How to get started

https://youtu.be/l7602rVHf2M

In December last year I purchased the Stitch Happy Pen from We R Memory Keepers. And now I finally found the time to use the pen. I have to tell you that I didn't quite understand the illustrated instructions in the pen kit: How to thread the punch needle??? I got a bit frustrated at first, but then I figured it out how to actually use the pen. If you're asking yourself how to get started with the Stitch Happy Pen, then watch my latest video on youtube. I hope the video is helpful ♥ and saves you from questions.

Crate Paper | GOals Mini Album

Crate Paper | GOals Mini Album

I want to share a cute way to display 2019 goals. I decided to go for documenting my GOals in a handmade journal - a GOals Mini Album. And I made a page for each month to track my progress. You can find out more on the Crate Paper Blog today.

Suggested goals:

  • practice mindfulness (spend quality time with yourself, enjoy the little moments, be thankful for what you have, etc.)
  • exercise three times a week (running, playing Volleyball, take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc.)
  • spend quality time with your family (long breakfasts on the weekends, go for walks together, play games, etc.)
  • help a person in need (smile, be kind, offer a seat on the tram, etc.)
  • write down three good things that happened to you (write these down at least three times a week)
  • think about how you can improve to be a good and caring person (write down thoughts regularly in the course of a month)

Altenew | Scrapbook Layout 'Sweet' | Fussy Cutting

Altenew | Scrapbook Layout 'Sweet' | Fussy Cutting

Hello and welcome to my blog today. I'm sharing a new 12x12 scrapbook layout on the Altenew Scrapbook Blog today. Here is a sneak and a description how I made the layout.

How to:

  1. I started with a blank piece of white cardstock
  2. Then I used a peachy watercolor and a brush to color the background.
  3. Next, I fussy cut floral elements from the 6x6 Verdant Walk Paper Pack.
  4. And I also fussy cut a photo with an ice-cream cone.
  5. Next, I die-cut a pocket from patterned paper.
  6. Then I stamped a sentiment onto white cardstock. And I adhered it onto the background.
  7. I arranged all items onto the background with foam pads.
  8. In addition, I colored a wood veneer 'smile' with the peachy watercolor that I used for the background.
  9. Finally, I added journaling and also colored in some of the floral elements.

And here is the full layout:

Thank you for stopping by on my blog. Now hop on over to the Altenew Scrapbook Blog to see the list of supplies that I used for today's scrapbook layout 'Sweet' with the fussy cutting technique. Have a great day, yours Sandra.
