[Ad] Welcome to a new blog post for American Crafts featuring a scrapbook layout with paper slippers. These slippers are really popular on December, 6th. We are celebrating "Nikolaus-Day" on this day.
Nikolaus is the little helper of Santa Claus. Children and grown-ups clean their shoes on the night before December, 6th. And then over night, Nikolaus puts sweets, candies and small presents into the shoes. That's a really popular tradition and everybody loves it!!!
And I thought it's a cute idea to put slippers onto today's scrapbooking layout. Please scroll down to find the template to create your own slippers. Have fun! I'm also sharing a reel video on my insta feed and on my pinterest account. So make sure to hop on over there too.

Ich wünsche euch einen schönen 1. Advent. Heute gibt es einen kurzen Post (fast) ohne Papier, dafür aber mit einem schönen Adventskranz. Gestaltet habe ich den Kranz mit einem DIY-Kit aus dem kleinen feinen Shop Kleines Rehkitz in Markkleeberg (in der Nähe von Leipzig). Die Basis bildet ein Weidenkorb, der mit Steckmasse gefüllt ist.
Zur Schmückung des Korbs verwendete ich verschiedenes Grün und allerlei Deko aus natürlichen und künstlichen Materialien. Der Korb samt Steckmasse kann auch für zukünftige Dekorationen verwendet werden. So können wir im Frühling und Sommer schöne Kränze gestalten - mit Blumen, Gräsern und einer kleinen Lichterkette.

[Ad] Today I'm sharing a cute Xmas Mini Pocket Cards inspiration with the Busy Sidewalks Christmas Collection by Crate Paper / American Crafts. Are you ready to make some fun mini pockets for gift cards? Okay, then let's go.
How to:
Cut a piece of patterned paper to size 8" x 3.5".
Score at 3" and 6".
Score 0.5" from the left side and the right side too.
Make a pencil mark on the backside at 0.625" (7/8") from the right and at 2.875" (2 7/8") also from the right.
Cut the paper with a cutting knife (for instance from We R Memory Keepers) from the pencil marks to the first score line on the top left and top right side.
Cut the top sides with a scissors to make the flap for the mini pocket.

[Ad] I'm sharing a fun tutorial how to make origami inspired pyramid boxes from one sheet of paper. The Fall treat boxes make great table favours and are cute birthday gifts too. I created the boxes with papers and embellishments from American Crafts new Fall lines Bungalow Lane by Paige Evans and Peaceful Heart by Jen Hadfield.
Instructions:
Trim a piece of paper to size 9“ x 9“.
Make four scoring lines at 3“ each.
Mark all four sides with a pencil at 4 ½“.
Cut the outside squares with a pair of scissors. The cut-out size will be 3“ x 3“.
Score diagonal lines from the 4 ½“ pencil marks to the right-hand corners. This will result in 8 flaps at the sides.
Crease all scored lines and flaps.
Punch four small holes with the Crop-A-Dile tool.
Use a ribbon to close the pyramid box. I used double-sided tape on two of the flaps for more stability.

Die-cut lovely LAYERED FLOWERS with the Revolution Die Cutting Machine (WRMK) and add the flowers onto the cover of your notebook. EYE-CATCHER ALERT
Insert a pretty TASSEL into the spiral of the notebook to achieve a playful look.
Mix white paper and decorated pages on the inside of the notebook. This will make journaling even more fun.
