WRMK | Handmade Planner DIY

Welcome to my blog and a handmade planner DIY. The design of the planner is simple. And it's not very difficult to make this project yourself. The planner consists of a cover with a spine (size 0.5"). The inside has two slip-in pockets to hold a handmade journaling booklet and also a cute accordion fold album. With this wonderful handmade planner, you are ready to document your memories. I'm sharing a link to my YouTube video for this planner further down. Make sure to watch the video ♥.

To make the handmade planner, I recommend to use the All-in-One-Tool and the Bookbinding Guide by We R Memory Keepers. In addition, I used the Fernwood Paper Collection by Vicki Boutin for American Crafts.

How to:

1. Cut a piece of patterned paper to size 8 1/4" x 7 1/2".
2. Score the paper at 3 7/8 from the left and the right side. Fold the paper along the scoring lines. This will give you the planner cover with a spine measuring 1/2".
3. Make a journaling booklet by cutting two pieces of paper. Cut the front cover to size 3 1/2" x 7 1/2". Then cut the back to size 3 1/2" x 7".
4. Score the front cover at the top - at 1/2". Now attach the back cover onto this fold (1/2") of the front cover.
5. Cut blank pieces of paper for the journaling pages. The pages need to be 3 1/2" in width. The length can vary, depending on the size of the blank paper you have at hand.

6. Place the blank journaling pages inside the cover, pierce holes with the Bookbinding Guide and sew the journaling booklet with a needle and threat.

7. Open the cover of the planner. On the right side, create a slip-in pocket and slip in the journaling booklet.
8. Create a second slip-in pocket on the left side.
9. Decorate the cover and the inside.

American Crafts | Happy Mail | Kid at Heart Pebbles Paper Collection

Welcome to a new blog post featuring some Happy Mail with the Kid at Heart Paper Collection by Pebbles Inc. for American Crafts. This collection is full of cute papers and embellishments. I created a fun card with a folded inside. In addition, I used cute stamps from the collection to decorate the envlope. Let's have a look at the photos. I'm also providing How-To-Instructions further down. I hope you will enjoy today's blog post.

How to:

1. Cut a card from a patterned paper from the Pebbles "Kid at Heart" Paper Pad (size 3.5" x 10"). Score at 5" and fold the card.
2. Cut the inside pages for the happy mail card from a patterned paper with 3 journaling cards. Make two scores along the lines of the journaling cards.
3. Glue the inside pages onto the card with double sided tape.
4. Make a shaker element with acetate, add some sequins and sew the acetate onto the paper with a sewing machine.
5. Add a slip-in-pocket at the front of the folded inside pages.
6. Decorate the cover of the happy mail card with a tassel, a paper clip and puffy sticker. Add three sequins for a finishing touch.
7. Grab a blank envelope, and decorate the front with stamps from Kid at Heart.

WRMK | Valentine's Day Envelope Mini Album | Crate Paper Market Square

[Ad] Hello and welcome to my Valentine's Day Envelope Mini Album with the Mini House Card Set from the Market Square Collection (American Crafts). The Mini House Card Set is the CUTEST thing this January 2022. It's not only decorative, but it comes with cute little cards and envelopes. And I made an envelope mini album with the Card Set. Today's project is for intermediate crafters and it takes less than an hour to finish the project.

SUPPLIES you will need to make the Envelope Mini Album:

• Maggie Holmes Market Square Collection Mini House Card Set
• We R Memory Keepers Angled Tag Punch

DIRECTIONS:

1. Grab 4 brown envelopes from the Mini House Card Set by Crate Paper for American Crafts.
2. Create an envelope mini album by inserting the envelopes into each other as shown in the photo above.
3. Glue a mini card onto the envelope lid at the end. This will be the back cover of the mini album.
4. Cut one of the folded cards from the Card Set into half and glue one of the pieces onto the cover.
5. Create tags with the Angled Tag Punch, decorate the tags with stickers and ephemera, and insert them into the envelopes.

American Crafts | 2022 Goals Mini Album with the WRMK Bookbinding Guide

[Ad] Welcome to my first blog post in 2022. I created a 2022 Goals Mini Album with the We R Memory Keepers Bookbinding Guide. Furthermore, I used the Market Square Collection by Maggie Holmes for American Crafts. I've made cute albums with the bookbinding tool before. It's one of my favorite tools ♥ by WRMK. Please check out my other posts where I used this bookbinding tool Things I'm grateful for mini and Traveler's Journal.

And now on to today's project. It's for crafters with intermediate skills. And it will take you less than an hour to create this project. You will need the following supplies:

• We R Memory Keepers Bookbinding Guide
• Market Square Collection by Maggie Holmes Meadow Stroll, Alpha Die Cuts, Ephemera, Sticker Book, Clear Acrylic Stamps
• Optional: We R Memory Keepers - 12 x 12 Paper Pad - Clear Acetate

How to:

1. Cut the cover for the Goals 2022 Mini Album from the Meadow Stroll patterned paper (size 8" x 9").
2. Cut the inside pages for the album from white paper (about 10 pieces of paper, size 8" x 9"). Fold all papers in half (size 4" x 9").
3. Use the Bookbinding Guide and pierce holes into the papers for the saddle stitch. Please find the instructions in the little booklet that comes with the guide. Next, bind the album using the saddle stitch.
4. Decorate the cover with Alpha Die Cuts and Ephemera.
5. Decorate the inside pages by drawing lines for journaling. Add stickers from the Sticker Book.

TIP: You can add stamped images with the Clear Acrylic Stamps for more fun and variety. A nice add-on is a shaker pocket made from clear acetate. Cut two pieces of acetate to size 3.5" x 5". Before glueing the acetate together, add some sequins to go inside.
