DCWV | Xmas Gift Wrapping with Magical Holidays

Hello! And welcome to my blog. I've got some cute Xmas gift wrapping projects for you today. I had the chance to work with the Magical Holidays Premium Stack from DCWV.

DCWV (Die Cuts with a View) is a brand from American Crafts. DCWV offers a variety of stylish papercrafting products. Among them you will find the Magical Holidays Premium Stack.

The Magical Holidays Premium Stack includes:

• 32 sheets of printed cardstock (some of the papers come with holographic foil accents)
• pre-made gift tags
• a bonus sticker sheet (cute stickers, some have holographic accents too)

So, if you are a fan of soft and playful designs, then this premium stack with 32 sheets of printed cardstock is the perfect addition to your Xmas stash. The papers come in soft colors with cute graphics. Enjoy friendly unicorns, special Xmas trees, dancing ballerinas, snowflakes in different designs and stylish Xmas ornaments.

My projects with Magical Holidays

And now let's have a look at the projects I made with the premium stack. I created modern Xmas boxes in two different sizes with papers from the Magical Holidays Premium Stack. The color scheme of the papers and stickers is fresh and modern. And it's quite different from the more traditional Xmas colors. And that's why I like the Magical Holidays stack so much :). Because I like gift wrapping projects with a fresh and modern look and style.

By the way, I used the 1-2-3 Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers to make the boxes. The tool is great if you want to make boxes in different sizes from cardstock sheets.

I went for a clean and minimalistic style to let the papers and graphics 'do the talking'. First, I selected two different papers from the Magical Holidays Premium Stack. Second, I created the boxes with the punch board. Third, as a finishing touch, I decorated the boxes with stickers and pre-made gift tags. TIP: I used foam pads to attach the gift tags onto the front of each of the boxes.

Last but not least, I created a small card to go with one of the boxes. I combined three different patterned papers. And then I added one of the bonus stickers from the Magical Holidays Premium Stack.

And here comes today's final photo of the two Xmas boxes that I made. They are waiting here on my table to be filled with candy.

Altenew | November 2018 Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome to our November 2018 Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop. You might have come here from Kristina. And now it's my turn to inspire you with handmade envelopes and cards using the Delicate Bloom Stickers.

I used the Envelope Punch board from We R Memory Keepers to create this cute little envelope. In addition, I used one of the pretty Delicate Bloom Stickers and a patterned paper from Altenew.

Next up is a fun gift box. To make the box, I used the Envelope Punch board from We R Memory Keepers, some copper baker's twine and the 'For you' sticker from the Delicate Bloom Stickers.

Crate Paper | Journal Studio | Traveling to Copenhagen

Hello and welcome to a crafty inspiration with the Journal Studio Collection from Crate Paper. Recently, we went on a city trip to wonderful Copenhagen in Denmark. And I used the Journal Studio Kit to document our travel adventures. You can also see some of the photos on the CP Blog today. Hop on over to find out more.

The best way to discover the city is by bike. The bicycle lanes in Copenhagen are wide and spaceous. We had so much fun discovering the city. We stayed at the Steel House Hostel. And I can highly recommend this place. The bedrooms are modern and stylish. And the lobby is a great place to hang out in the evening.

I'm sharing some photos of our travel adventures today. In addition, I'll let you have a look inside my travel journal. Enjoy the ride :).

Altenew | Upcycled Notebook Cover | Golden Feather Stamp Set

Hello and welcome to a new DIY idea: creating an upcycled notebook cover from an old wardrobe door. I'm sharing this tutorial on the Altenew Blog today. Make sure to stop by over there too :).

Some time ago the door of our old wardrobe broke. We got rid of the door frame. However, being a passionate DIY crafter, I made sure to keep the plastic door panel. I cut the plastic panel into several small pieces. And today I want to share a project that I made from one of the panel pieces. I created a notebook cover. And I used stamps, washi tape and some wooden stars from Altenew to decorate the cover.

First, I attached washi tape onto the right hand side of the plastic panel. Second, I added three rubber bands as decoration. Then I stamped and die-cut feathers from the Golden Feather Stamp Set from Altenew. And I attached the feathers onto the panel piece.

Next, I stamped the sentiment 'hello' onto white cardstock and glued it onto the cover. Furthermore, I punched two holes on the left side and added two silver ring binders. As a final touch, I added two wooden stars onto the cover.
