Beim heutigen Layout, welches ich für den Blog von Tanita gemacht habe, ging es darum, Fotos in ungewöhnlichen Formaten zu verwenden. Neben den gängigen rechteckigen und quadratischen Formaten werden hin und wieder Fotos in Kreis- oder Dreieckform auf Layouts verwendet. Ich habe mich für ein anderes Format entschieden und zur Titelgestaltung ein Foto in Wolkenform auf dem Layout eingesetzt. Das eigentliche Foto ist in Form eines Anhängers (tags) gestaltet. Die Wolke habe ich mit einer Stanze aus weißem Cardstock ausgestanzt, das Foto (auf das ich zuvor in Photoshop das Wort 'hello' ausgedruckt hatte) dann von hinten an den Cardstock geklebt, mit Goldspray-Spritzern verziert und anschließen umnäht. Es ist ein ziemlich einfach gehaltenes Layout, hat beim genaueren Hinschauen aber neben den Fotoformaten zwei nette kleine Details. So habe ich die Linien für das Journaling genäht und eine kleine Konfetti-Tasche selbst gemacht. I made a layout for Tanita's blog and her challenge to use unusual photo shapes. For the title 'hello' I decided to use a photo of the sky in the shape of a cloud. First I printed 'hello' on the photo with photoshop. Then I used a cloud die-cut on white cardstock. I attached the photo to the back of the white cardstock and sewed around the egdes with my sewing machine. The black & white photo has the shape of a tag. I attached some baker's twine to the top. I also made a cute little confetti pocket with transparent film and some coloured confetti. For the journaling, I sewed some lines with my sewing machine and added the journaling above these lines. The layout is quite clean & simple at first sight, however, it has some nice little details like the confetti pocket, the stitched journaling lines and the cloud title.
