We R Memory Keepers | Decorate a Tumbler with the Spin It Tool

[Ad/Werbung] I had the chance to try the Spin It Tool from We R Memory Keepers. Here is what We R Memory Keepers are saying about the Spin It Tool:

"Projects come full circle with Spin It by We R Memory Keepers. Easily personalize tumblers, cups, and more with this motorized rotary drying tool. Its rotating arm allows for evenly dried coats of epoxy, making for perfect projects every time. Add glitter and other embellishments to customize your projects, then place them on the adjustable grip, and give it a spin."

I went for some fancy and glamorous champagne and mermaid glitter stripes.
And here is how I did it:

This is the final result. Unfortunately, the stripes kind of bleeded out along the edges when I applied the epoxy. Maybe I should have waited a bit longer for the stripes to dry before applying the epoxy. So make sure to wait until the stripes have dried completely. This will help to create sharp and crisp results.

Thank you for stopping by on my blog today. I hope you like my project inspiration with the Spin It Tool from We R Memory Keepers. Wishing you a happy and creative day. Yours Sandra.

Felicity Jane | Smartphone Mini Album with Rebekah Kit

Felicity Jane | Smartphone Mini Album with Rebekah Kit

I'm sharing a cool smartphone mini album that I made with the pretty fall-ish Rebekah Collection Kit and bits and pieces from the wonderful Shay Collection Kit from Felicity Jane. Smartphones have become a part of everyday life. So why not create a mini album with smartphone pages?! The window screens are perfect for adding photos and small embellishments. I used a small metal ring binder for the mini album closure.

All pages are shaped like a smartphone. I used a cut file to cut the pages from patterned papers from the Rebekah Paper Pack. I cut two pieces of paper for each mini album page, one for the front and one for the back.

A nice feature are the sewing lines that I added onto the mini album pages with my sewing machine. TIP: Create variety by using one of the journaling cards as an additional album page. You can glue photos onto the back and also add some journaling.

Thank you for stopping by today. Now hop on over to the Felicity Jane Blog to read more about the smartphone mini album. Wishing you a great day, yours Sandra :).

Crate Paper | Hey Pumpkin | Gift Totes

Crate Paper | Hey Pumpkin | Gift Totes

Welcome to my blog and two projects featuring the spooky and cute Hey Pumpkin Collection from Crate Paper. I've got two fancy Halloween gift totes to show you today. When it's time for "Trick or Treat", it's nice to have some sweets at hand and also a special packaging to give away to the kids. I made two gift totes from the patterned papers 'Eeek!' and 'Beware' from the Hey Pumpkin Collection. Let's have a look at the Halloween gift totes:

And now hop on over to the Crate Paper blog to find out more about the two projects. Have a wonderful day, yours Sandra :).

Crate Paper | Halloween gift totes, decorated frames and spooky envelope

Crate Paper | Halloween gift totes, decorated frames and spooky envelope

Welcome to my blog today. I'm sharing some cute and whimsical Halloween gift totes, two decorated frames and a spooky envelope that I created with the cute Hey Pumpkin Collection from Crate Paper.
Let's have a look at the projects:

Gift Totes

The gift totes are perfect for candies and sweets and I'm sure the kids will LOVE the whimsical look and fell of the totes. The gift totes are decorated with a variety of stickers and puffy stickers from Hey Pumpkin.

Decorated Frames

I used a frame cut-file and decorated the inside of the frames with cute embellies from Hey Pumpkin. The frames are nice decorative pieces to put on a shelf during Halloween. And I LOVE all the cuteness inside the frames. Aren't those stickers and die-cut pieces adorable?!

Spooky Envelope

The final project is a spooky envelope. I cut two patterned papers from Hey Pumpkin. Then I glued the papers together with double-sided tape. I added a notch at the top with a circle punch. And I used my sewing machine to add stitched lines along the edges. The center piece is a shirt that I cut from a really 'Halloweenish' patterned paper.

I hope you like my inspiration with Hey Pumpkin. I will share some more projects with Hey Pumpkin later this month. So stay tuned and come back to my blog soon :). Have a wonderful day, yours Sandra.

Felicity Jane | Adorable Gift Boxes with Rebekah October Kit

Felicity Jane | Adorable Gift Boxes with Rebekah October Kit

I created three adorable gift boxes with the Rebekah October Kit from Felicity Jane. The gift boxes hold a variety of handmade journaling cards. As a special feature, I used the polka dot tissue paper that comes with all Felicity Jane Kits to wrap the journaling cards. I just cut pieces from the tissue paper to fit inside the boxes :). Neat, isn't it?!

The gift boxes are great for giving vouchers as a birthday present: an invitation to lunch, spending time together on a sight-seeing tour, taking dancing lessons, etc. The handmade boxes are the perfect way to make special gifts.

Let's take a look at the boxes now:

  • TIP: Decorate the cover of your boxes with die cut shapes from Rebekah. You can also use doilies to create more texture:

  • TIP: Try and use the tissue paper from the kit to wrap your journaling cards in a stylish way:

  • TIP: Decorate your journaling cards with the vellum hearts from Rebekah and write messages onto the back of the cards, e.g. "let's take dancing lessons" or "let's go on a long walk and talk about our plans", etc.

I'm sure the gift boxes will make people smile. And they are precious, because you took the time to create them for someone special.
